SAN FRANCISCO UNICORNS FAMILY DAY PRESENTED BY ROYAL® TO KICK OFF 2024 MAJOR LEAGUE CRICKET SEASON
- The second annual San Francisco Unicorns Family Day, presented by authentic award-winning Basmati and Sona Masoori Rice brand Royal®, will take place at Ohlone College in Fremont on June 29 at 10am PT and will feature opportunities to meet the team, a free cricket clinic and exclusive new merchandise.
- The event is free to attend and open to all ages and will be preceded by a watch party for the ICC T20 World Cup final at 7am PT.
- The sophomore season of Major League Cricket (MLC) will begin on July 5, with the first of the Unicorns’ seven regular-season matches taking place on July 7. Tickets for all matches are available now at tickets.majorleaguecricket.com.
SAN FRANCISCO, Ca. (June 18, 2024) — The San Francisco Unicorns has announced the return of its preseason fan event in the Bay Area, the San Francisco Unicorns Family Day presented by Royal®. The event will be held at Ohlone College, Fremont, on June 29, ahead of the second season of Major League Cricket.
The San Francisco Unicorns Family Day, presented by authentic award-winning Basmati and Sona Masoori Rice brand Royal®, is free to attend and will offer fans the chance to meet Unicorns’ head coach, Shane Watson, and many of its roster of star domestic and international players.
Unicorns players will also be passing on their skills in a cricket clinic aimed at introducing core cricket skills and improving basic batting and bowling skills for those aged 7-14. Any aspiring young cricketers will have the opportunity to pre-register for the clinic here.
The San Francisco Unicorns Family Day festivities will begin at 10:00am PT and will be preceded by a watch party for the final of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup—co-hosted by the USA—starting at 7.00am PT.
The Bay Area event will also be the first opportunity for fans to check out exclusive San Francisco Unicorns merchandise produced by cricket apparel experts Belgravia Apparel.

Registration for the event is not required, and fans of all ages are welcome. However, fans who wish to register young players for the cricket clinic will need to register in advance. More information about the event can be found here.
The San Francisco Unicorns Family Day takes place one week before The Unicorns’ first ball against the LA Knight Riders on July 7 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, TX. Tickets for all matches are available now at tickets.majorleaguecricket.com.
