San Francisco Unicorns Announces Women’s Cricket Collaboration with Aspire Cricket
- San Francisco Unicorns has announced Aspire Cricket as its Official Non-Profit Partner for the 2024 Major League Cricket (MLC) season and beyond.
- The relationship will see the Unicorns assist Aspire in their ambitions to inspire future generations of women cricketers.
- The sophomore season of MLC will begin on July 5, with the first of the Unicorns’ seven regular-season matches taking place on July 7. Tickets for all matches are available now at tickets.majorleaguecricket.com.
The San Francisco Unicorns has announced an ongoing collaboration with non-profit organization Aspire Cricket, with the aim of furthering the development and growth of women’s cricket in the USA.
The new partnership will see the Unicorns share resources and coaching expertise with Aspire Cricket as its Official Non-Profit Partner in an ongoing relationship from the start of this year’s MLC campaign. The Unicorns are committed to giving greater exposure to cricket and building interest in Bay Area cricket as a whole, while helping to develop its quality at the grassroots level.
Founded by former Australian international and two-time World Cup winner Julia Price, USA captain Sindhu Sriharsha and teammate Uzma Iftikhar, and cricketing changemaker and Northern California player Aundria Mirabrishami, Aspire Cricket has pushed to pay forward their knowledge and expertise for aspiring cricketers of all ages and abilities.

Aspire Cricket operates a number of different programs across the USA, including ‘Discover Cricket Pop Ups’, cricket camps, individual and group coaching, tournament mentoring, and various bespoke services led by their team of ICC qualified coaches.
