Additionally, Destination Sport Travel counts a growing client base throughout the U.S. sport landscape including as the league-wide travel partner to Major League Rugby, and to numerous top-flight clubs within the NWSL, Professional Volleyball Federation and Major League Soccer.

The sports travel experts will facilitate the Unicorns’ travel and accommodation arrangements between the three MLC match destinations, which include the Grand Prairie Stadium, near Dallas, TX, Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, FL, and the Bay Area’s Oakland Coliseum, which will host MLC matches for the first time, as well as being the team’s designated home ground.

With the 2025 MLC season having expanded to a minimum of ten matches per team and a geographically diverse schedule spanning California, Texas, and Florida, before returning to Texas for the playoffs, efficient travel logistics are paramount. Recognizing this critical factor in event execution, the Unicorns have partnered with Destination Sport Travel to ensure seamless travel arrangements, prioritizing player recovery between games and flights.

David White, CEO of the San Francisco Unicorns, said: “Playing for the first time across three cricket grounds adds a new logistical layer to our planning for the new MLC season, and we’re confident that Destination Sport Travel has the expertise and experience to deliver Unicorns’ players with the seamless travel management that enables them to best recover and perform at their best on match days.”

President of Destination Sport Group – North America, Jeremy Parkins, added: “This new partnership is exciting for Destination Sport Group as we continue our rapid growth across North America whilst adding to our global cricket footprint.

“As the Unicorns prepare for their championship run this season and make their mark at the Oakland Coliseum, we are looking forward to supporting them and delivering our industry leading services.”

The San Francisco Unicorns begin their MLC 2025 campaign against the Washington Freedom on June 12 at the Oakland Coliseum. They’ll remain at the same venue for two more matches, facing the LA Knight Riders and MI New York, before heading to Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium near Dallas, TX, for four additional fixtures. The league stage then wraps up at Broward County Stadium in Florida with three matches, including a final West Coast derby rematch against the Knight Riders, before the Unicorns return to Grand Prairie for the playoffs.

Tickets for all matches are now on sale at the official Major League Cricket website.
